Love this mixer.
Roll it next to your pour. Face the opening on the mixer for easy loading. Add a little water and slowly add up to two 80 pound bags. Add more water and a bit of acrylic fortifier if you like. When its mixed well just unlock the swivel and unlock the dump. Long handles like a wheel barrow make the swivel and pour easy. Then lock it all back in and roll it to the next spot. Repeat…rinse it down every so often to keep it clean. Only problem was grips pulled off. So I used construction adhesive and glued them on overnight. Next day was a breeze. Seems a little flimsy but has held up so far. Nice and light too for easy loading and transport.

Works great!
I bought this unit lightly used, just finished mixing and pouring 44 sixty pound bags of concrete. It will hold three bags but works better with two, be sure to put the water in before the concrete!

Great Little Mixer for Home Use
My wife helped me and we poured a small ramp using (27) 60 lb bags with no hiccups from this mixer. Just don’t overload it and it works great!!!!!
Pros: Good quality construction and I even received a couple extra bolts, washers and pins. All the parts fit and were fairly easy to put together, about 35-45 minutes.
Cons: Terrible instructions and make sure to add 4 oz of gear oil. The gear housing has grease but no oil.
I still give it 5 stars for quality and ease of use.

Assembly required and oil NOT included.
I believe the box says “Light Assembly Required,” and by light, they mean almost every piece – so figure an hour of assembly. The instructions are nearly worthless, but if you have reasonable DIY skills, you can figure it out. It does also require gear oil for the gear box which is NOT included.
Once it was together, it’s pretty much a no brainer to operate and seems to work pretty well.
My biggest issue with this was that things were overpackaged, with every piece bubble and stretch wrapped.

Small job greatness. It is a perfect DIY’er’s tool. Some assembly require. If you have short arms you’ll need a helper to complete the assembly, because you have to be able to reach into the bottom of the drum to attach the pivot and stirring blades. Handles are too loose for my preference. As long as you’re not traveling a great distance with a drum full of wet concrete you should be fine. We poured a 5’ X 15’ X 6” deep pad in front of a shop. For two people we got it done in about 3 hours. I read reviews about the motor conking out and just wonder if the reviewer was tempted to do their own thing rather than follow the directions. We had no issues and I thought the tool performed great. I would recommend

Works well, requires assembly
Took about 30-40min to assemble by myself, directions are not super detailed but it wasn’t too difficult. One put together it worked well, mixed three 60lb bags at a time. Easy to move and rotate as needed.

I spent $150 to rent a real mixer to pour the initial 10’x15′ slab inside of an old barn. I had to take down the rotten walls next and pour a 1′ extension around the whole slab. I figured, if I get 2 small pours out this mixer, I’ll break even. Overheated after 1 7/8 of a pour. Had to mix the end with shovel and wheel barrow. It was 105°. I’m thinking about using a window A.C. next time but that would render the a.c. useless for any other purpose

Pretty good quality for the money also kept outside with no isssues to motor
Dude this mixer is tough it’s paid for itself pouring and saving my back from hand mixing over 1000 bags I’ve heard a lot of bad reviews of the ryobi mixer breaking at welds glad I bought this . keep in mind to check bolts periodically and tighten them but overall I have almost no hesitation mixing 3 bags at a time just be careful not to let it spill when dumping and also uses a trowel to keep clumps from building in the back you just hand trowel it gently while it’s turning to get any lumps and just add enough water not to much
